not enough time in a day.

Simply, not enough.

Most of my day was spent preparing for “later”. Worrying about buying property in the future (calculators, simulators and the whole thang!), laundry, meal prep, annnd cleaning.

• Preparing to manifest.

• Preparing to sit down and write a script.

• Preparing for my trip to Mexico.

• Preparing for the week to avoid hunger.

• Preparing for the next morning.

It’s tricky to think of time like that, the past, the present, the future…they’re really all connected!!!

Also, I had no idea standard time was established in 1918. What was that like? Would I be constantly preparing for the future before then?

i hope my neighbours were ok

but then again, they’ve been having sex so loud I had to put an angry rap playlist playing full volume on my phone that I put directly on the ground. they didn’t continue for that long. hopefully they got the message.

today i was dreaming about a home. ahhh. it’d be great to have a home with a backyard. a big open kitchen. big windows.

i gotta reframe my thoughts and what i say because it’s energy that can contribute to manifesting what i want…so it WILL be amazing to have that home. let’s not worry about how to get there, and just get ready to receive and be there.

back to my laundry. is powder or liquid detergent better? i don’t know why, I just went with powder, even though i used to take the liquid when I was using my buildin'g’s laundry.

either way. smells good.

I just did a meal prep…for breakfast!!! Do people do that?? I don’t know, but I made too much porridge this week and it felt so good to already have something to heat up and start the day on the right foot. Soooo I had to keep it going. I made lots of crepes.

What’d you say???? Yeah, #adulting.

My Christmas tree is still up tho.

But I’ve been doing lots of laundry these past few days (CUZ U KNOE, NEW WASHER OR WHATEVAA)…

Do they cancel each other out?

The point is: I made lots of crepes!!!

And I need to get a clothesline so that I stop hanging clothes to dry on my wooden chairs.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO. I just wrote a post and deleted it by accident. Let me try to recap. Wow. A recap of a recap! How exciting. smh

Alright. I made Haitian tablèt today. It’s like a cashew sweet, damn..just google it. “You’ll find the answer on the computer” as my dad would say. eyeroll Right. So in the spirit of nothing to say, I’ll follow with 3 proud moments of my day:

• I was able to have a difficult conversation with my friend and spoke from the heart.

• I did my daily freewriting this morning.

• Hmmmmmm. I did my dishes as I was cooking. There’s still something left but BEST BELIEVE I’LL DO IT AFTER THIS POST. Again, who am I??? Should I name my adulting self?? What about Orgal? Organized…gal….get it? I should be ashamed of my level of lameness. BUT I AIN’T.

• I remembered to wear leggings under my jeans today. -16° Celsius, but ma legz were warm. U mad?

• That was 4. Who cares? I’m an adult remember? K, bah!

I got 90 problems, but a bitch ain't one

Today was a day of errands and research. I conquered the challenge of leaving my house to go get a bunch of grocery items —as if yesterday wasn’t enough. And when I say research, I mean 4 Chrome windows opened, with 26+14+42+8=90 tabs running. I just counted, and I am now mortified.

I feel like internet surfing is kinda having to cook and then do dishes overrrr and overrrr and overrrr again. You know? Like every time you eat, you leave a trace that you gotta clean up after, whether it’s a meal or a snack. If you don’t, it piles up, and then you gotta clean up the pile. And don’t get me started on my internet habits. The tabs are a perfect representation of myself, my thoughts (rabbit holes), and my state of being. Current status: real estate that I can’t afford, eye frames that I’m eyeing (!) without knowing what I’m truly looking for, a few recipes here and there, ways to preserve various fruits and veggies that I recently bought, school stuff, and finally, therapists. Obviously, I haven’t cleaned up after my thoughts yet.

This makes me realize why I’ve had chest pains for 2 days. I had come to the conclusion that it was anxiety, but now the anxiety has a face and it’s got 90 problems, and a bitch is one. Damn. I should’ve had 99 tabs opened. Get it?
